P-A-R-T-I-C-I-P-A-T-E:Global Week of Action Campaign!

Following the launch of the  MY World website on the 23rd December, the voting has now spread to 173 countries across the globe!!
Now the challenge is to ensure that we reach out to millions of people and in particular we reach out to those whose voices are often not heard in global decision making.  The UN asks for your support in the first major push for MY World through your youth partners and online network. This will be the first of series of week-long actions that we will run throughout 2013 initially and then to 2015.
As you are aware the United Nations Secretary General´s High Level Panel for Post-2015  have asked that analysis of the MY World results be presented in their  meetings in Monrovia on 30th January 2013 , Bali (March 2013) and New York (May 2013). MY World will feed into their final report which will serve as a key input to the United Nations Secretary-General’s own report to a special Member States event, to be organized at the 68th session of the UN General Assembly in September 2013. After which, MY World will continue gathering people´s voices up to 2015 and results will be shared on regular basis with the United Nations Secretary General and global leaders as they continue preparing the next development agenda in the run up to 2015.
So today your help is needed in this first push to reach out through your online networks to members and friends ahead of the first meeting of the High Level Panel on the 30th January 2013. We have set a one week action campaign from the 21st to 28th January to create major online momentum for MY World in the knowledge that we need time and careful focus to ensure we reach out to those who are not connected. The communication team from multiple UN agencies has developed social media and other launch plans that will be shared with you early next week.  Below are the simple steps to get started and help you keep track of your efforts in driving voters both online and offline:
